I met up with my buddy Ron Durant at Foster Falls and spent the day making long exposure photos with my Nikon D850 and the Nikon 16-35mm f/4. This spot is loaded with moving water, rocks, and little pockets of detail that really reward slowing down and working the scene. I leaned on Maven Filters to stretch shutter speeds and smooth the water, and I came away genuinely happy with what I got on this excursion. In this video I’m basically doing what I love—getting out in the field, dialing in real settings, and focusing on practical results instead of theory.
