Hello everyone! this video, I opened up my brand new Xiaomi 15 and explore the phone while sharing my first impressions. If you didn't know already, I originally used a Galaxy S23, although had some issues with it outlined in the video. The new Xiaomi phone fit all my criteria, whilst also being an astoundingly good deal! If you have any questions or queries, please don't hesitate to leave me a comment. As always, a like and subscription would be greatly appreciated if you enjoy my content and wish to see more! Have a great day! About This Video

In this video I unbox my new Xiaomi 15 and explain why I’m ditching my Galaxy S23. The S23 has been a solid phone in most ways (camera, screen, fingerprint), but the battery has been genuinely rubbish for me—around 3 hours 56 minutes screen-on time and a full charge estimate hovering around 10–11 hours. I wanted something that would actually last when I’m out and about, and the Xiaomi 15’s 5240 mAh battery in a 6.3-inch body was basically exactly what I was looking for. I also go through the deal that made this purchase kind of mental: trade-in credit from an old iPhone 11, discounts, and freebies like a Pad 7 and a 120W charger (plus the fun story of CEX opening the sealed tablet in front of me and nuking the resale value… nice one). After setup, I check out HyperOS 2, the preinstalled apps/bloat, and I test stuff I actually care about—animations, fingerprint/face unlock speed, speakers, the IR blaster “Mi Remote,” and the camera zoom options. I finish by testing charging: with the included HyperCharge brick I saw 90W and went from 30% to 80% in about 20 minutes, which is honestly wild compared to my S23 experience.
