The £20 iPhone SE 2020 Journey!

Hello there! In this video I go on a bit of an adventure to get a cheap 2nd generation iPhone SE 2020. Some things didn't go quite as planned but it was still a bit of fun and I would say the price made it worth it! I'm looking at making more "vlog" style videos where I film my journeys for bargains. All feedback is greatly appreciated!

About This Video

In this video I go on a bit of a bargain-hunt adventure to collect a £20 iPhone SE 2020 (2nd gen) from Facebook Marketplace. The catch: it’s absolutely not mint—front and back glass are cracked—so I messaged the seller and got the price down from £25 to £20 because I knew I’d be spending money getting there. I also made sure I could check it wasn’t iCloud locked before handing anything over, because getting stuck with an iCloud-locked iPhone is just pain. The journey itself was classic me: I messed up the train timing, ended up waiting around, and had a bit of a scramble with tickets and slow Wi‑Fi because my main phone died. But I got the phone home, confirmed it powers on, works fine, has no iCloud lock, and even popped up Touch ID during setup. After travel, the total came to about £26.60 (call it £27), which is still solid considering these often go for £60–£70 in good condition. Now I’m debating whether to keep it as a spare or flip it—maybe with a cheap screen replacement—but after fees it might not be worth chasing profit.
