Then I hit a few bigger-ticket finds and “nice to have” items: a Pelican fishing kayak, a basic first aid kit (good for scrapes, not trauma), FRS/GMRS walkie talkies, and a 70L duffel/backpack that looks suspiciously close to those Patagonia bags. I finish with fire pits (smokeless and propane), and my general take is: Walmart has more overland-ready stuff than people think—you just have to know what to look for.
