About This Video

Hey friends, it’s Tracey from Nova Scotia Living, and this is part two of our New Year’s Eve feast—so long 2025, and thank the Lord above we rang in 2026. I’m picking up right where part one left off, and I’m basically in full “we’re pulling this off by the skin of our teeth” mode, trying to get supper on while the dishwasher’s going, music is blasting, and the dogs are underfoot (as per usual). I cut up a whack of chicken breast and turned it into a big teriyaki-style stir fry with peppers, onions, mushrooms, bok choy, and all the bits and bobs I had to use up. We end up with a whole buffet spread: sweet and sour meatballs, pork fried rice, instant noodles and rice noodles with bean sprouts and soy sauce, honey garlic pork, beef and broccoli, jasmine rice, egg rolls, chicken balls, and all the sauces—plum, cherry, pineapple. Then we squeeze in the countdown, popper and all, and poor Magda gets a fright with the fireworks. Afterward, I’m chatting about storm days, snow, being behind on editing, and just being gentle with myself—because that’s where I’m at. Peace, love, and happiness today and every single day.
