Ohhh good morning friends—Tracey here from Nova Scotia Living, and this one is a cozy little mashup catch-up (and yes, I’m a bit under the weather and looking like a bog witch, but maybe I am). It was a storm day, the kids were home, and I just felt that spark to sit down and edit again, even though I’ve had a lot on my plate and I’ve had to prioritize. I’m still adjusting to the “new me,” and I’ve been trying to just get through day to day without falling in a hole, if you know what I mean. In this mashup I’m puttering around the house, vacuuming for the first time in way too long, and getting supper on the go—chicken quesadillas with peppers and onions, fajita seasoning, salsa and sour cream. We had hockey on the go too, and I chatted about the weather warnings, school likely being cancelled, and all the busy weekends ahead. I also shared what I’ve been doing for my journaling journey—one journal for my everyday “talking to myself” check-ins, and another that’s more self-reflecting, shadow-worky, and honestly a bit of a slap in the face… but healthy. I also opened up some packages—pens, journals, sticker paper, shoe inserts that help my feet, and some basic black stretchy pants—just little things that are making life feel a bit more manageable right now. And as always, I’m ending it with peace, love, and happiness—today and every single day.
