About This Video

In this episode of my Keeping It Spicy Art Journal Challenge, I’m using the prompt “You Are Enough” as my starting place and letting it guide the whole page—both the message and the layers. This challenge is meant to keep your practice fresh all year long, so I’m leaning into playful decision-making, building a background with texture, and then letting the words land where they need to land. If you’re someone who overthinks the page (hi, same), this is your reminder that you don’t have to “earn” your creativity—you can just show up and make marks. I also talk through how I like to set myself up for success with a flexible starting point: grab the free Starting Ideas download, pick a technique you want to practice, and then keep moving forward even if it feels messy in the middle. You can create right alongside me in the Keeping It Spicy journal, the DIY kit, or whatever journal you already have—because the whole point is to play, layer, and make something you love. The takeaway is simple and spicy: keep it doable, keep it honest, and let the page tell the truth—you are enough.
