This is a completely different kind of video for us, and honestly it’s out of the ordinary for me. We’re up in Suches, Georgia in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Rachel isn’t with me for a reason. I’m here with my brother Jason and my friend Steven, and we’re sharing what happened on a camping trip near Cooper Creek—something that turned a normal trout-fishing weekend into a real-life horror story. Jason walks through it step-by-step: finding a strange, deflated tent setup near the privy with totes of food, coolers, clothes, a dream catcher, and a skull that didn’t give off good vibes. Then random guys rolled through and ransacked it—gun gone, jewelry gone—and later that night, things went south fast. What they heard wasn’t “just an animal.” Jason and Tyler described a scream that sounded like a pterodactyl/dinosaur/wolf/man all at once, loud enough to overpower a car alarm, with that immediate “danger danger” feeling like you need to leave or you’re not making it out. I’ll be real: I don’t subscribe to Indian folktales the way people frame them online, but I do believe in angels and demons—and if anything like this is real, that’s how I see it.
