About This Video

In this video I tested the Logitech Z333 desktop speaker system with a subwoofer, and I’ll be honest—if you want a simple, stationary setup for your desk (or even your TV), this is a really solid budget pick. The Z333 sits around 80 USD (about RM300), and I know at that price you could also grab a decent Bluetooth speaker. But if you’re mainly using it at a desk or living room setup, having a proper 2.1 system just hits different. One of the big highlights here is the 80W power, plus you’re getting two satellite speakers and a front-facing subwoofer. The overall sound comes out bold, and the bass is strong and rich—especially compared to smaller Bluetooth speakers that usually sit around 10W to 40W. I also like that there’s a bass knob behind the sub so you can tune it to your liking. The included control pod is super convenient too, because it’s not just volume control—you also get an extra 3.5mm headphone jack, which is great if you switch between headphones and speakers often. I’m not some crazy audiophile, but I can tell when something sounds good, and I definitely don’t think the Z333 sounds bad for the money. If you’ve got more budget, I’d also consider the THX version, but for a value desktop upgrade, the Z333 is worth it—especially if you catch a discount.
