About This Video

Hi everyone, this is Nicholas, and in this video I reviewed the Padmate Pamu Slide 2 ANC true wireless earbuds. I kicked things off with the price—around 80 USD (roughly RM350)—so it sits in that mid-tier range, and then I went straight into the design. The charging case uses this old-school sliding mechanism, which honestly gave me a lot of nostalgia from the slider phone days, and it’s a refreshing change from the usual cases we see now. The earbuds are also ergonomically designed with a pressure release vent, plus you get food-grade silicone tips in three sizes, so comfort and fit are pretty well covered. For sound, I found the Slide 2 to have a powerful, punchy bass coming from the dual 10mm dynamic drivers, and the tuning felt nicely balanced across the frequency range thanks to the PEN & titanium composite membrane. You also get ANC rated up to 45dB, which helps cut down noise from places like airports, subways, cars, and crowds so you can focus. I also talked about the built-in wear sensors that auto pause/resume—very AirPods-like—and battery life, where I’m getting up to 6.5 hours per charge and 26 hours total with the case. Finally, I did a mic test and shared my impressions, and overall, I enjoyed the sound quality, but I’m an even bigger fan of that sliding case design.
