In this video, I review the Haylou GT7 TWS Bluetooth wireless earbuds and break everything down the way I usually do for budget gear—price, design, sound, battery, and connectivity. The GT7 comes in at around USD $20 (roughly RM80), and honestly the first thing that got me excited is the design. Each earbud is only 3.9g, the fit is comfortable, and I really enjoy the white matte finish on both the earbuds and the case—way nicer to me than the glossy finishes we keep seeing. For sound, I’d describe the GT7 as having pretty deep bass, while the mids and treble lean a little brighter, which ends up being a pretty good tuning for the price range. It uses a stem-style design that’s very AirPods-like, so most people should get a decent fit. I also talk about features like USB-C charging, rated battery life (up to 5 hours on a single charge, 20 hours with the case), and low latency mode with Bluetooth 5.2 for more efficient transmission and ultra-low power consumption. One important note: my unit’s microphone stopped working when I was about to do the mic test, so I couldn’t include one—likely a faulty unit—though I can still vouch for Haylou as a brand based on past experience.
