In this video, I tested the Haylou GT6 true wireless earbuds and did a quick mic test, just to see what you’re really getting for around RM80 (roughly $20). I start with the design because honestly, this is one of my favorite parts—the charging case is insanely compact and super pocketable. The earbuds are a semi in-ear style (AirPods-like, no rubber tips), so I can listen for longer without that annoying pressure in my ears. They’re also crazy light at 3.9g, which definitely helps with comfort. For sound, the GT6 uses a 12mm dynamic driver setup and I’d describe it as a punchy, powerful bass with pretty balanced mids and treble for the price. You also get AAC codec support, so details in music come through better compared to basic codecs. Battery is another big win: USB-C charging, up to 5.5 hours per charge, and 20.5 hours total with the case—especially impressive considering how small the case is. I also cover Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, automatic pairing, 10m range, and a 65ms low-latency mode for gaming. My main “missing features” are no IP rating and no wireless charging, but at this budget, I’m personally still sold on the GT6.
