In this video, I reviewed the EKSA GT1 Cobra true wireless gaming earbuds, and I started off with the price—about 50 USD (roughly RM200). Design-wise, I think EKSA did a really good job here. The GT1 is one of the most special-looking earbuds I’ve seen, and with the LED lighting plus the whole gaming theme, it honestly looks like a mini spaceship. Comfort is solid too—these feel a bit smaller than a lot of other earbuds I’ve tried, but they still fit comfortably in my ears and I had no problem wearing them for hours for music and gaming. For sound, you’re getting 10mm dual dynamic drivers, and I actually enjoyed the overall listening experience. With the rubber ear tips isolating most outside noise, the audio comes through fairly high quality—punchy bass, and the mids and highs are pretty reasonable. The big gaming highlight is the ultra-low latency, going down to 38ms, so audio stays in sync for games and videos. I also covered splash-proofing (no IP rating, so don’t go dunking it), battery life (6 hours per charge, up to 36 hours with the case), USB-C charging, a mic test for calls/meetings in a quiet room, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity up to 10 meters. If you’re on a $50 budget and you game a lot on mobile, I think the GT1 is definitely worth considering.
