About This Video

Hi everyone, this is Nicholas, and in this video I’m reviewing the Edifier W820NB ANC wireless headphones—plus I did a mic test so you can hear what the built-in mic sounds like. Price-wise, it starts around 80 USD, and in Malaysia you can usually find it around RM250–RM300. I talk through the design with the grey and gold accents (it honestly looks very familiar), the adjustable headband, and comfort. The earcups are soft and squishy, and I’m happy the cup size actually covers my ears properly—because that’s something I usually worry about. Then I get into what really stands out: the hybrid active noise cancellation. I personally felt the difference straight away—little things like fan noise from an actual fan and my computer get drowned out instantly when ANC kicks in. Sound-wise, you’re getting a 40mm dynamic driver and Hi-Res audio support, so it comes through crystal clear for the price. I also cover battery life (up to 49 hours with ANC off, around 29 hours with ANC on), USB-C charging (about 1.5 hours), Bluetooth 5.0, and the one-click control that cycles ANC, ambient, and gaming mode with low latency. Overall, I think it’s a great entry option if you’re new to ANC headphones—there’s honestly not much more to ask at this price.
