About This Video

In this video, I reviewed the Edifier NeoBuds Pro — a pair of active noise cancelling Bluetooth earbuds that’s slowly creeping into that “premium” TWS price range. I start off with the price (about USD $130 / RM520), then go through the unboxing experience, which honestly felt pretty grand and presentable (and it better be at this price). You also get multiple ear tip sizes and colors, and Edifier even calls them “germ proof,” which I’m guessing means there’s some kind of coating on the tips. For design, I like the matte finishing and the overall high-quality feel. The LED on the case looks futuristic — it actually reminds me of Knight Rider. The earbuds themselves are lightweight with a slim form factor, so I found them comfortable for long listening or gaming sessions, and the fit feels ultra secure. They’re also IP54 dust and water resistant, so they’re suitable for outdoor activities. Sound-wise, you’re getting Hi-Res support with LDAC/LHDC (up to 900kbps), plus hybrid ANC rated up to 42dB. From my own use, ANC doesn’t kill everything, but it cuts about 80% of the noise, which makes your music sound way better. I also do a mic test, cover battery (6 hours, 18 with case; less with ANC), quick charge, and latency (as low as 80ms). My conclusion: if you’ve got around RM500 to spend, this is a solid choice — I just wish it had wireless charging.
