In this video, I do a half-year check-in for the channel and, honestly, I just needed to get a few things off my chest. The last six months have been the most chaotic stretch I’ve had in years: moving away from my parents, trying to go back to school, working (including a museum job), chasing certifications, and still trying to keep NXT Windows consistent. That shift changed my upload rhythm, and you’ve probably noticed I’ve done fewer Windows app reviews and fewer Insider build videos—especially when a build doesn’t have anything meaningful to actually show on-screen. I also talk about how I’m trying to rethink build coverage so I’m not just reading release notes you can already read yourself. I touch on bringing back my podcast (NXT Windows On Air) with Salman MKC, and I do a quick show-and-tell of my Windows Insider MVP 2022 award—plus the not-so-fun part where FedEx broke the glass pieces. The main point, though, is me being real about the “chaotic workspace” behind the camera. I show my cluttered creator space because it reflects where my head’s been: last-minute video ideas, inconsistent double uploads, and not operating at my max. I’m not proud of it, and I’m aiming to get back to being organized and intentional before summer’s over.
