About This Video

In this video, I’m bringing you along for a super typical “hall homebody” day in Singapore—aka me basically locking myself in my room for class, to study, and even to eat. If you’re curious what university hall life can look like when you’re not out and about 24/7, this is it: a cozy, stay-in, get-things-done kind of day with good food breaks in between. It’s not a crazy packed schedule, but that’s kind of the point. Some days, the most productive thing I can do is keep my environment simple, stay in my space, and just focus on what’s in front of me—classes, studying, and recharging. Also, I had a very humbling food moment where I thought I was ordering something small (I said six pieces… I thought it would be small) and it turned out to be a bit much—so yes, clown moment, I am the whole circus. If you’re an aspiring med student (or just a uni student) looking for realistic student life in SG, I hope this feels like a comforting reminder that not every “day in the life” has to be aesthetic and intense—sometimes it’s just you, your room, your work, and your food.
