Toddlers want to share things they enjoy with you. When toddlers make art they aren't really seeking subjective praise or evaluation or grade of their artwork. They are looking for connection with you. In this video I share some things to say about your child's artwork to stimulate your own creativity and imagination as you practice this skill. Remember that the purpose of our response is to give the child the ability to remember the joy they had in the process and to connect with our child around this piece of artwork.
