Preparing your toddler for the first day of daycare or preschool? Wondering what toddlers should know before starting school? There are many ways to prepare your toddler for the first day of school. This year, more than ever toddlers might need a little extra practice with social skills before joining a Montessori toddler community, preschool or other childcare or daycare. The two important skills to teach are in the area of toddler social skills with respecting boundaries. I'm on vacation from the classroom in August 2021 and will be using some of that time to challenge myself to get back to the "minutes" goal of Miss Julie's Montessori Minutes.
