About This Video

Good morning everybody—this was a super quick one, but it’s been driving me crazy. In my 2020 Jeep Gladiator, I keep dealing with mice getting into the truck bed when we’re camping. We’ve already tried the obvious stuff like keeping food and paper products locked up in secured boxes, and that definitely helped… but then we still spotted another mouse in there recently. After pulling out the Decked drawer system, I found a bunch of factory holes built into the bed (maybe tie-down points, maybe drains—honestly not sure). My goal was simple: seal every possible entry point. I stuffed each hole with very coarse steel wool—because mice can’t chew through it—then covered it with heavy-duty waterproof Gorilla tape to keep it in place and make it blend into the black bed liner. The other big weak spot was the tailgate gap, so I added a tailgate sealer and moved it around until I found the placement that actually closed up the space. I’m not doing this for dust; I just want zero gaps so the mice can’t get in. I’ll update in the comments with how it holds up over time.
