A room tour of my Central Park View Interior room from the Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas Cruise Ship. I was able to choose my room & was pleased with my selection. When your room is ready, you'll find your "Sea Pass Card" outside your stateroom. This is what you'll use as your key, to pay for anything on the ship, as well as your check-in when entering/exiting the ship. About This Video

On the last day of my Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas cruise, I did a quick, no-fluff room tour of my Central Park View Interior stateroom (Room 9607). I walk you through exactly what you see when you enter: the full-length mirror, the light switches, the thermostat (I kept it cold), and the bathroom setup. The bathroom had a decent-sized shower with a glass door, an adjustable shower head, the ship’s 2-in-1 shampoo, a big mirror, towel space, and a couple hooks that are perfect for towels or bathing suits. From there I cover storage and livability—because that’s what actually matters when you’re traveling. I show the closet space (including where I stuffed my suitcase, shoes, and dirty laundry), the desk area where I charged all my electronics, and the extra drawers and safe. I also talk about little real-world details, like how the hangers clang around when the ship is moving (so I stashed mine in a drawer), and the “fridge” that’s technically labeled a cooler. Finally, I show the twin beds, outlet placement (one side had a plug), the master light switch by the nightstand, and the window view into Central Park for some natural light. Big takeaway: I was pleasantly surprised by the room size, and I’ve been happy with this pick. After four cruises, my opinion is balconies often aren’t worth the extra money if you’re not spending much time in the room—best bang for the buck is usually an ocean-view window room.
