I don’t have the drone (yet), but I’ve got thoughts. In this video I ramble about what the Antigravity A1 seems to offer, what has mattered for me for real-world flying, and whether I think it’s worth getting excited over. About This Video

In this video I’m basically talking as a prospective buyer of the Antigravity A1 360 drone—because I don’t actually have it (yet), but I’ve got thoughts. My channel is mostly camping and overlanding, but I’m also a gear nerd, and cameras/drones have been a big part of my kit since I started shooting. I’ve owned a bunch of DJI drones over the years, and for me the DJI Mini 3 Pro is pretty much perfect: great video/photo quality, solid battery life, and the ability to shoot landscape or portrait. The main reason I’m even paying attention to the A1 is the potential DJI ban/shutdown situation. Antigravity (with the Insta360 connection) definitely caught my eye, especially because 360 recording could remove one of the hardest parts of flying—framing. If you’re capturing everything, you can worry about composition later in editing, and that could make tight-space flying easier too. I also dig the idea of reframing the same flight for YouTube and vertical social. But I’m not blindly hyped. I’m watching for real-world video quality (I don’t want to sacrifice too much just to get 360), battery life (I want at least ~30 minutes), wind performance, and how usable the one-handed controller and goggles setup really is—especially whether you can fly without goggles when you want to stay aware of your surroundings.
