About This Video

In this Symphony of the Seas cruise vlog, I take you along for my 7-night Eastern Caribbean sailing (March 15–22) out of Miami with stops in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Nassau. This one was a little different for me because I was cruising with my parents, my sister, and a big group of extended family, so a lot of the trip was balancing ship activities, port days, and just hanging out together. I walk through each day—embarkation, sea days, and the port stops—so you can get a real feel for what it’s like actually being on the ship. I also share the practical stuff I wish more people talked about: how the app helps you plan onboard activities, what “dress to impress” night looked like for me (yes, the bird shirt made an appearance), and how dinner timing worked (early dining, about 90 minutes in the main dining room). Food was a big theme—especially with celiac—so I explain why I lived on buffet burgers sometimes, how the main dining room handled gluten-free by taking my order the night before, and why Sorrento’s gluten-free pizza is absolutely worth a stop. I wrap it up with a few tips like towel checkout/scanning, dealing with a windy sailing, and my take on excursions—including my Under SXM snorkeling trip to the underwater sculpture park.
