About This Video

In this video I unbox and do an honest, real-world first-week review of the LAMTTO DC16 front + rear dual dash cam in my Jeep Gladiator. I’ve never used a dash cam before, so I walk through what’s in the box (including the included 64GB card), what the buttons/ports do, and how the front camera mounts. I also show the setup process, getting it connected to the app, and what I learned the hard way—like mounting it too low at first and not leaving myself room to hit the buttons. After that, I install the rear camera and talk through routing the cable (which is super car-specific). In my Gladiator with a truck cap, I ran the wire along the passenger side and into the topper, and I used the included blue trim tool to tuck the cable. Then I share raw footage samples and my takeaways after a week: I really like having a rear camera, the video quality is totally fine for dash cam purposes (front can do 1080/2.7K/4K; rear is 1080), and the loop recording auto-overwrite is awesome. My only real issue was the built-in battery not charging, so I’m planning to follow up with the brand and update you in a pinned comment.
