It's time to compare differences between the original Anker EverFrost powered cooler and the new version! I am comparing the 53L version of the V2 and the 40L version of the V2, however, there are definitely some big improvements! NOTE: I have received both of these coolers for free in exchange for my videos. This video is not sponsored by Anker. I was not paid. Everything I mention in this video is either my own opinion or (as I mention) stuff that is advertised that I will test out as I use the cooler this summer. I truly was extremely happy with the V1 & I'm very excited to use this V2 this camping season :) Anker Everfrost 2 Initial Impression: https://youtu.be/DwZwQgS5QYg Links (affiliate links) - Anker Everfrost 2: https://bit.ly/AnkerEverfrost240L - Extra Battery: https://bit.ly/AnkerEverfrost2Battery - Anker Everfrost 2 (Amazon): https://amzn.to/4cwyUKQ - Extra Battery (Amazon): https://amzn.to/42qYj3U Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:38 Physical Differences 03:46 Specs 06:08 V3 Ideas 07:00 Conclusion Subscribe to my channel!: https://bit.ly/mt__subscribe You Can Find ME: - My Website: https://www.miketrachtenberg.com - My Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/traveltrachs #Anker #LIVEINPOWER #AnkerEverFrost2

About This Video

In this video I put the original Anker EverFrost powered cooler (V1) head-to-head with the new EverFrost V2 and walk through everything that’s actually different. At a glance they look pretty similar, but once you start looking closer there are some quality-of-life changes I really appreciate—like moving the bottle opener to the same side as the screen (that was a legit complaint of mine with how I had it positioned at the tailgate), an integrated handle design, and the new soft-close door. I also point out the V2’s door fan (Anker’s “Fast Flow” tech) that’s supposed to help with faster and more even cooling. The biggest upgrades are on the battery/power side. V2 adds two battery slots (V1 only has one) and a fully enclosed battery area that makes the cooler IPX3 waterproof—V1 wasn’t considered waterproof at all. Anker also moved the solar input off the battery and down next to the AC/DC port. On paper, the runtime jump is huge: V2 is rated around 52 hours on one battery (and up to 104 hours with two), which is a massive step up from V1’s ratings. Bottom line: if you’re choosing between V1 and V2, I’d go V2, and I think the upgrade is worth it—assuming real-world battery life matches what they advertise.
