In this video, I give you my honest feedback of the Anker EverFrost 2 40L Powered cooler. This is just an initial impression since I just got it. Comparison of V1 & V2 coming soon. Full review after using it for the summer coming toward end of summer. NOTE: I received this cooler in for free in exchange for an honest video. This video is not sponsored by Anker. I was not paid. Everything I mention in this video is either my own opinion or (as I mention) stuff that is advertised that I will test out as I use the cooler this summer. I truly was extremely happy with the V1 & I'm very excited to use this V2 this camping season :) Links (affiliate links) - Anker Everfrost 2: https://bit.ly/AnkerEverfrost240L - Extra Battery: https://bit.ly/AnkerEverfrost2Battery - Anker Everfrost 2 (Amazon): https://amzn.to/4cwyUKQ - Extra Battery (Amazon): https://amzn.to/42qYj3U Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:47 Overview 03:06: Detailed Look 07:11 The Anker App 10:05 Brief First Use 11:12 Conclusion Subscribe to my channel!: https://bit.ly/mt__subscribe You Can Find ME: - My Website: https://www.miketrachtenberg.com - My Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/traveltrachs #Anker #LIVEINPOWER #AnkerEverFrost2

About This Video

In this video I’m giving you a true first look and initial impressions of the Anker EverFrost 2 powered cooler—specifically the 40L model. I’ve only had it out for one quick 24-hour, one-night camping trip so far, so this isn’t the full torture test yet. But I walk through the size/weight, what comes in the box (AC/DC cables, wheel chocks, manual), and the big change this year: it supports two removable batteries (only one is included), plus the second slot doubles as storage if you’re running a single battery. I also go over the main specs Anker is advertising—battery runtime (up to 52 hours with one battery, 104 with two under their test conditions), temp range (-4 to 68°F), and their “fast flow” cooling claim (77°F down to 32°F in 15 minutes). I show the controls, the battery compartment with the new enclosed cover (IPX3 splash rating), and I run through the Anker app. I’m usually not an “app for everything” guy, but being able to check battery percentage without climbing into the truck bed is actually useful. My quick real-world takeaway: performance was great on that first trip, and I only dropped from 100% to 83% battery from 3:00pm to 8:30am. The main downside for my setup is it’s taller than the V1, so with my Decked drawers and canopy I can’t open the lid in place anymore—I have to pull it out. Comparison video vs EverFrost 1 is coming soon, and a full-season review will be later this summer.
