In this video I put the iPhone 17 Pro Max up against the OPPO Find X9 Pro to see which one actually wins the camera battle in 2025. The Find X9 Pro is honestly one of the most over-the-top camera phones I’ve used: a 50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto tuned by Hasselblad, plus log video for creators. I walk through real-world shooting in daylight, portraits, ultra-wide, macro, and a ton of zoom tests, because that’s where the differences show up fast. In daylight, both are excellent, but OPPO leans vibrant and “ready to post,” while the iPhone sticks to a more natural, contrast-heavy look with moodier shadows. Ultra-wide is crisp on both, but Apple gives you a slightly wider view. Once you get past 10x zoom, OPPO starts pulling away hard—details stay sharper and colors stay more accurate, and even 30x is usable thanks to that 200MP sensor. Low light surprised me too: OPPO consistently delivered brighter, cleaner shots with less noise, while Apple did better with contrast and highlight control. For video, both are strong and both offer log, HDR looks great, and 4K 120fps slow motion looked incredible. I also cover the Find X9 Pro’s design, new buttons, crazy-bright display, strong Dimensity 9500 performance, and that ridiculous 7500mAh battery that basically kills battery anxiety.
