It feels like a real MacBook (because it is), and the A18 Pro isn’t some throwaway chip; in single-core it’s faster than the M1, which is what makes it feel snappy for normal use. From there I cover the Lenovo Yoga 7A as the best value 2-in-1 I’ve used this quarter, mainly because the OLED panel is insane for the money and you get a Wacom-powered pen in the box. Then things get wild with Panther Lake: the Acer Swift Edge 16 AI and Lenovo Slim 7i Ultra both pair Intel’s Arc B390 iGPU with thin-and-light designs that can actually game — I’m talking Cyberpunk near 60 fps at medium in an integrated graphics laptop. I wrap with the ASUS Zenbook A14 running Snapdragon X2 Elite, which looks like a legit MacBook Air alternative with better ports and a much improved Windows on ARM app situation this year, plus a couple honorable mentions.
