In this video I’m doing a proper little unboxing of my new unboxing knife: the WESN x P&Co Henry the High Flyer Scrimshaw edition. Straight out of the box you get the knife in a nice pouch, plus a carving tool—and that’s the fun bit, because the whole point of this one is the scrimshaw-style carving. The handle is brass and bone, the blade is high-quality steel, and the carved detailing on it just looks properly solid. The big reason I had to have it (especially being UK-based) is that it’s UK legal for carry: it’s a non-locking slip joint and the blade is under 3 inches, which matters a lot with how strict the laws are here. I also show how easy it is to unfold using the little groove, but I’ll be honest—I managed to nick myself without even noticing, so yeah… be careful. You also get stickers, a use & care manual, a certificate, scrimshaw instructions, and India ink to fill your design once you carve it into the blank rough area on the other side. Overall, it’s a super cool knife and I’m genuinely happy—this is definitely becoming my new go-to unboxing blade.
