In this video I unbox the WANDRD Stratus Photo 18L backpack and give you my first proper walkaround of the design, materials, and storage layout. Straight away it’s looking really nice — the tarpaulin front panel is the classic WANDRD vibe and I’m a big fan of that rugged, wipe-clean feel. Up front you’ve got the WANDRD logo and four attachment loops for accessory straps, plus more loops underneath for extra carry options. I open up both side-access camera compartments to show how the internal dividers are set up: one side has a four-split area you can reconfigure, while the other side gives you bigger sections for camera and accessories. You also get mesh zip pockets inside, stretchy side pockets that work for a water bottle or tripod, and compression straps with solid plastic buckles on both sides. Around the back it’s nicely padded with comfortable shoulder straps, a sternum strap, load lifters, a luggage pass-through, and a secret pocket for passport/documents. Up top there are three access points: a laptop sleeve that fits a 16-inch MacBook Pro, a small quick-grab pocket (think sunglasses/AirPods), and a larger top pocket for bulkier bits like a jacket.
