In this video I’m testing the ESR Cloud Soft Case with Stash Stand for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and honestly… it surprised me. The case is silicone with a really nice, grippy texture (safe in hand), plus a super soft “plushy” lining inside that should help avoid scratches from dust and bits that sneak in. I also talk about the MagSafe side of things — ESR calls it HaloLock — and I actually like the look of that ring on the black version because it adds a bit of design without being too loud. I go through the cutouts and buttons, including the camera control area. At first I thought the cutout (instead of a dedicated button like on the Apple case) was a bit lazy, but after using it I’m convinced it works well — and it can even feel more secure when you’re trying to hit that camera control. The big extra is the stash stand / camera guard: it flips out to work as a kickstand in landscape and portrait, and I ended up using it way more than I expected. Then I compare it directly to my Apple case. The ESR is a bit thicker and grippier, the buttons feel clickier, and the best part is the price — it’s way less than the Apple one (around £23.39 vs ~£50), and with my 25% code it’s even cheaper. For me, this one actually replaces my Apple case.
