In this video I’m doing a proper first look and unboxing of the DJI Mic 3, and honestly… I can’t believe how small it is compared to the DJI Mic 2. The moment I opened the box, the size difference hit me straight away—it’s freaking crazy. I walk through everything that comes in the package, from the paperwork and stickers to the carrying pouch (which I genuinely really like) and the full set of accessories you actually need to start recording. I show you the two transmitters up close, how the windshields mount on top, where the recording/pairing button lives, and the charging/data pins on the bottom. One of my favourite little design choices is the removable magnetic clip on the back of the transmitter—you can adjust it to four different angles, or detach it so the mic sticks out way less from your t-shirt. Then I go over the receiver with the screen and wheel for gain/settings, the locking mechanism, and the adapters—especially the USB-C one that slides in so you can use it with your phone. The best part? The charging case now fits all the bits: receiver, both transmitters, magnets, cables, and windshields, so it’s a proper grab-and-go kit.
