Many of you have asked to see what our current Montessori daily routine looks like in our multilingual Montessori home now that Stella is 2 (closer to 2.5!) and definitely speaking much more in both languages! Our Montessori home truly sounds like a bilingual home now! We are still maintaining one parent one language, and her interest in Russian and Korean has remained, but she is also becoming more interested in exploring English. For those interested in how we maintain balance and exposure in all languages in our multilingual home while following the Montessori method, I hope this Day in the Life vlog gave you an insight into that! The Yoto player has remained a phenomenal resource for us in continuing to provide exposure in all three languages! We were very excited to finally try our Little Passports! I had been keeping my eye on their kits ever since I saw them in Hapa Family's vlogs, and I was so excited that we have finally neared the age to try them out. Unsurprisingly, their hands-on activities that combined pretend play and Stella's favorite topic - exploring the world-were a huge hit in our home. She continues to talk about Max, Mia, and Toby every day! We are both eagerly awaiting to see where our adventure takes us next! I hope a look at the daily rhythm of our Montessori home gives you some ideas for how you can incorporate shelf work with getting tasks like cleaning done around the house! If you're looking for more activity ideas, I have a playlist dedicated to Montessori aligned activities by age and theme as well. \\ Montessori Home Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/mariaandmontessori \\ MARIA10 for $10 OFF your first toy rental box with Tiny Earth Toys! https://tinyearthtoys.com/ \\ Yoto Player (10% OFF with Link) https://prz.io/Y9O6gDqcE \\Our favorite dolls are from Hazel Village! https://hazelvillage.com/ Other videos you may find helpful in your Montessori at home journey: Montessori Home Tour: https://youtu.be/D8nE6uHECcI Multilingual Montessori Home: https://youtu.be/ORgJPIJgvPM Raising Multilingual Kids FAQs: https://youtu.be/X8zwHguaz_A What Is Montessori? : https://youtu.be/eAd-MLnQnq4 How To Set Up a Montessori Shelf: https://youtu.be/XizqedkNJVw How To Rotate Montessori Activities: https://youtu.be/mMa3e40wm0M How To Make an Ikea Montessori Functional Play Kitchen: https://youtu.be/-oMxjaKPPI0 Montessori Functional Kitchen Updates & What We Learned: https://youtu.be/pfsKJiet9x0 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out my playlists below: Lovevery Dupes: https://tinyurl.com/yc767zsm Montessori Activity Ideas: https://tinyurl.com/yx8xy9ys Montessori FAQs: https://tinyurl.com/yr6dku9d Baby Basics: https://tinyurl.com/38jr5wcc Motherhood Tips : https://tinyurl.com/47n76pak See Stella's Updated Playroom Tour here: https://youtu.be/ve2F5q1OUq0 her infant playroom tour: https://youtu.be/2EQkyMKSkWE and her Nursery Tour here: https://youtu.be/DjnZm9s6UzM ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📸Follow me on TikTok and Instagram @MariaAndMontessori to see daily tidbits of our life as I transition to being a stay at home mom and introduce Montessori to Stella! 🎥New videos coming every Sunday! About This Video

In this video I’m taking you through a full day in our bilingual Montessori home with my 2-year-old (closer to 2.5!) and showing what our rhythm actually looks like right now. We’re still doing one parent, one language (Russian and Korean), and you’ll hear how much more “truly bilingual” our home sounds now that Stella is speaking more in both languages—while also becoming more curious about English. I also share a practical peek at how I support independence in real life: checking her shelf in the morning, letting her choose what she’s drawn to, and balancing her concentrated work cycle with the reality that I still need to clean and get things done. I answer a question I get all the time about the weaning table—how it fits with family meals—and show how we use it for snacks she prepares start to finish on her own, while still doing family meals at the big table when it makes sense. You’ll see how I protect her focus (sometimes I’ll do big tasks in another room so I’m not in her direct eyesight/earshot), how nap time becomes my reset window, and how our afternoons naturally shift from more independent work to more “join the family” time. We also review the Little Passports Early Explorers kit, which has been a huge hit—especially the map jigsaw puzzle with a matching background and the pop-up figurines for pretend play. It’s been such a fun way to blend hands-on work, world exploration, and extra language opportunities as we name monuments and places in both languages.
