In this video I review the Xtrfy GPZ1 (Zy’s Damage) mousepad—Rocket Jump Ninja’s collab with Xtrfy—and I keep it no-BS. I go over the unboxing experience (it’s wrapped super tight in a cylinder), how curled it comes out of the box, and why that can be annoying. I also talk about a big design flaw: the tag is massive, and because it’s so thick underneath, it can stop the pad from truly laying flat depending on your desk. From there I get into what actually matters: the surface and performance. The GPZ1 literally feels like a microfiber cloth—so much that when I compared it to an actual microfiber cloth, it felt the same. RJN calls it a control + speed pad, but in my experience it’s not a speed pad at all—it’s an extremely slow “mud pad,” very similar to the Zowie G-SR (not the G-SR-SE). It’s also more of a dust/particle magnet than my G-SR. For games like Valorant and CS:GO it performs well with strong stopping power, but I’m still sticking to my Zowie G-SR as my main.
