In this video I’m giving you my honest Razer Orochi V2 review from the perspective of a large-hand mouse user. I go over the key specs first—Razer’s 5G 18K optical sensor, modified Kailh 4.0 GM switches, around 60g weight, and the fact that it runs on either a AA or AAA battery with both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth. The shape is that classic “egg” style, the side buttons actually protrude nicely, and the scroll wheel feel reminds me a lot of the G Pro X Superlight. Price-wise, seeing it around $70 new (and sometimes closer to $50) is a straight-up steal. But here’s the no-BS part: for me, I can’t main it. I’ve got large hands (20x10cm) and I’m mostly palm grip, sometimes claw, and the Orochi V2 is just too tight and too small for my grip. It’s fun for short Valorant or Apex sessions, but once I push past an hour, it starts fatiguing my index finger to the point where I felt like I could actually injure it. I also talk about the firmware situation—mine jittered like crazy out of the box, and I had to update both the mouse and the receiver to fix it. If Razer ever drops a larger version of this mouse, I’m buying it in a heartbeat.
