Hey guys, Mango here. In this video I show you how to make vertical content while you’re recording or streaming your normal horizontal content—inside one single OBS instance. No running two OBS apps, no extra editing just to get a TikTok-ready format. We start by grabbing the FREE Aitum.tv Vertical plug-in, installing it, and then opening OBS where the vertical dock shows up and lets you build dedicated vertical scenes alongside your main setup. From there I walk you through creating vertical scenes (like a “no webcam” and a webcam version), adding a Display Capture from your existing horizontal sources, and then using transform tools like “Center horizontally” to get everything framed right. I also show how to link your vertical scenes to your horizontal scenes, so switching your stream scenes stays synced. Finally, I break down the plug-in settings—resolution options, video/audio bitrate, and “Backtrack” (basically replay buffer, which I still think is the most powerful clipping tool out there). The big takeaway: you can stream, record, and clip vertical highlights separately while still pulling audio from your main OBS mixer, which makes the whole workflow stupid convenient.
