About This Video

In this video I go deep on the Antlion Kimura Solo and Kimura Duo—two gaming IEMs that, frankly speaking, are some of the best gaming earbuds out right now. I cover the unboxing (tips, adapter, case), talk price ($100 Solo vs $150 Duo), and explain the real difference: single dynamic driver vs dual dynamic drivers. Then I put them where it matters—in game—testing Valorant, CSGO, and Fortnite for positioning, soundstage, and that “expansive” feeling you either care about… or you don’t. For gaming performance, both of these are fantastic for directional audio, but the Duo has that extra depth and separation that makes the world feel more “inside the universe,” especially in Valorant and Fortnite. The Solo still performs really well (and honestly in CSGO it impressed me a lot), but it’s a bit less spacious and a bit less bassy compared to the Duo. I also demo the Kimura mic in Discord and compare it to my XLR mic—mad props to how good that tiny mic can sound. I end with four caveats: the mic has no noise cancelling (you’ll want filters), the isolation is way too good (be aware of your surroundings), remove them gently because the seal can feel suction-y, and keep volume in mind because these are basically earplugs with speakers.
