Today’s video is a real “day in the life” with all the chaos that comes with renovations, four kids, and trying to keep some kind of routine. I’m taking you along for haircuts, the boys’ first day of gymnastics (which was adorable… and also way more exhausting than I expected because Charlie is in a super clingy phase), and just the reality check I keep needing: I can’t plan on getting extra work done while the kids are occupied, because it’s just not realistic in this season. I also give you a full house tour after our downstairs renovations and updates. The kitchen backsplash is finished, we’re adding bright gold hardware to the dark green cabinets, and I’ll show you the fridge we finally got (after weeks without one—yes, we were literally using Carter’s mini fridge). I walk through the choices we made to keep things clean-looking—like removing extra outlets—plus the fireplace update, built-ins, and the dining room opening that made a huge impact without being crazy expensive. It’s not fully decorated yet, but it already feels brighter, bigger, and way more “me.”
