Hey guys—welcome back to a super motivating, real-life extreme clean, declutter, and organize with me. I filmed this right after Christmas (and yes, I was still recovering from bronchitis, so thank you for bearing with my congested voice). If your house feels trashed after the holidays with decor, new toys, and just “stuff” everywhere… same. I start by digging into the kids’ spaces—Charlie’s room and the boys’ room—picking up the chaos, decluttering what doesn’t fit anymore, and doing my best to make the toy situation feel manageable (even though I struggle with being “minimal” with toys, especially stuffed animals). From there I reset our game room and tackle our homeschool room, which gets messy so fast with three little ones. I clear shelves for our new All About Reading curriculum, clean up my embarrassing desk mess, and organize my current book stack (I just finished The Nightingale). I also share how much I rely on lists—finances, cleaning, all the things—because it helps me organize my thoughts when life feels loud. We finish with a quick reset of our shoe/coat/curriculum closet, a dining room tidy, and laundry. I talk about upcoming laundry room changes (like adding a top piece to the front-loaders so clothes stop falling between), and how I’m trying to teach my kids more responsibility—especially getting my 16-year-old to fully do his own laundry start to finish.
