In today’s video I’m sharing three easy holiday home decor DIYs you can make with your Cricut machine, and I love that they’re budget-friendly and can double as thoughtful gifts. Decorating my home is one of the biggest ways I express my joy for the season, so these projects are truly the best of both worlds: cozy holiday decor + crafting. First, I transform a simple glass floating frame into a classy, timeless piece using Cricut gold adhesive foil. The sheen is so beautiful, but I’ll be honest—because it’s thicker (and I chose an intricate design), it takes a little more patience to weed. Next, I spruce up plain pillar candles two ways: a cardstock candle wrap (great for using what you already have) and a vinyl decal candle with a festive holiday print that was much easier to weed. Lastly, I make fluffy throw pillows with Cricut Infusible Ink—one with a circular “Joy to the World” design and one with a modern custom pattern I built by duplicating shapes in Design Space. My biggest takeaways: measure first, center everything, and take your time—these simple steps make DIY decor look high-end on a modest budget.
