About This Video

In this video I’m walking you through the Relive app — a mapping and tracking tool I use both on the bike and on the boat. The big appeal for me is how it turns a ride out (or a sailing day) into a neat little story: route tracking, photos along the way, and then a 3D animated mini-video I can share with mates, post on socials, or even drop at the start of my YouTube videos to show the route. I show you how to get started by downloading it on iOS or Android, creating an account, and then either recording an activity directly in the app or connecting a tracker (there are loads supported like Garmin Connect, Suunto and Wahoo). You can pick your activity type — motorcycling, sailing/boating, cycling, hiking and loads more — then start, pause for lunch, and resume when you’re ready. At the end you choose vertical or horizontal video, set a title, tweak video settings (like photo display speed, and music if you’re on the paid version), and let it generate your 3D video. All in all, I’m genuinely impressed — it’s a cracking way to relive and share adventures, whether that’s a Bonneville cafe run or a Sea Star sailing route.
