It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's the Milwaukee Duct Knife.

About This Video
In this video I’m showing off a knife that’s honestly way more wild than it sounds: the Milwaukee Duct Knife. And no—NOT “duck knife,” not a quack knife. It’s made for duct work, insulation, and duct board, but the first thing I thought when I saw it was, “Dude… this is basically a dagger.” It’s double-sided, it’s got a legit point, and it comes ripping sharp right out of the package.
What makes it interesting is the blade setup: you get a straight edge on one side for clean cuts, and serrations on the other for tougher, more abrasive materials. The tip is meant for piercing insulation and board, and the whole thing feels really good in the hand—around that sweet spot, roughly a 6-inch blade. I’m not reviewing it as a ductwork tool because that’s not my day job, but as an EDC/gear guy looking at it from the outside, it’s basically the “Gerber Mark II of Home Depot” for about 20 bucks.
I also talk about the sheath (simple plastic, and it can go in either way since it’s double-sided), the likely full-tang construction, and the reality that carrying something like this outside of a work context could raise questions fast depending on your laws. For the price, you’re not getting premium steel, but you are getting a tough, stainless, super sharp utility dagger-looking tool that’s just plain cool.
