Turning 24 in Singapore honestly felt… different. This was my first full year of working, and it’s the first time adulthood has really started to kick in—heavier, more uncertain, and a lot more real than my birthdays before. In this birthday week vlog, I’m sharing the little moments that made it feel less overwhelming, mostly because I got to be surrounded by people who make life feel more manageable. A big part of the week was my boyfriend planning a full surprise day (I genuinely didn’t know where we were going), which obviously meant cafe stops and matcha. I also tried banana pudding and something salted (finally), and there are a bunch of small, funny conversations that happen when you’re just out and about and letting the day unfold. To end it off, I share the sweetest birthday card from my little brother—he drew this whole chaotic Smash Bros scene with swords, shields, a “poisonous” cake with fire, and even a camera. It’s basically a snapshot of what this week felt like: a little messy, a little sentimental, but still really good.
