📮 NEW BEGINNINGS 🌱 🐋 college move-in & the start of the semester (uni vlog) | chrlene

[ 📮 open for commentary & more ] Finally, the day has come where I finally upload a "college vlog". The moving in experience gave me mixed feelings at the first. Many things surprised me (of which are stuff that I didn't anticipate) and caught me off guard. I guess years of fantasising about the "college life" has led me to form certain expectations about how uni life would be. It's still too early to tell but I guess those expectations are becoming more and more a reality for me (which I am happy about). Being able to have a tiny space of my own to adorn and take charge of gave me a sense of new-found responsibility. However, the "house chores" I had to do for myself gave me a sense of control and routine which I enjoy. The process of meeting new people in a foreign place was slightly overwhelming at the start but soon the unfamiliar faces and corridors turned into familiar ones and the place grew more and more like a place I can call "home". I have been staying in the dorm for 2 weeks and have started my first week of classes. While I am still in the midst of adapting to this new campus life, I am excited for what is to come and curious as to what adventures will unfold in future.
