About This Video

In this vlog, I’m just having one of those slow Singapore weeks where I try to romanticize the little routines again. I start my day making matcha with a new (more expensive) powder my parents got for me from a supermarket in Okinawa. It looks super green and pretty, but I’m also being honest about it — I don’t think it automatically means it tastes better, and I’m still figuring out what’s actually worth paying a premium for. I also talk about how my productivity has been kind of low ever since I finished school. During the school semester (and even internships), editing felt so much easier, but now I need more structure. So I started taking Ali Abdaal’s productivity masterclass on Skillshare, and the main thing I took away was Newton’s first law — objects in motion stay in motion. My “keystone habit” lately is making matcha and sitting at my dining table to kickstart editing. Later, I head out to Gardens by the Bay (Supertree Grove) for an event with my younger brother, and I also try bouldering. It’s a mix of calm city moments and trying something new — basically my favourite kind of Singapore day.
