So, it finally happened—I got a job. After months of job hunting, endless applications, and way too many interviews, I finally got the yes, and I’m honestly just extremely grateful. In this vlog, I’m sharing my last week before the 9–6 grind begins—the quiet little in-between where I still had slow mornings, time to do random bucket list things, and that kind of childlike freedom that feels so rare once work starts. I celebrated the news with my boyfriend over lunch, then went shopping for work clothes because a lot of my current wardrobe feels very “intern” and I wanted a few tops to rotate through my first few weeks. I also spent my free time baking an earl grey lemon cake (my forever bakery order), and it genuinely turned out perfect—fragrant tea flavour, not too sweet, and a slightly sour glaze. To round out the week, we finally did a weekday run from the Kallang area to Marina Bay Sands for the skyline views, and I soaked up one of my last slow weekday mornings—matcha, YouTube, reading—before life speeds up again.
