People always say Singapore is boring—and honestly, I’ve said that too. But in this video I wanted to challenge that mindset during my uni recess week by intentionally slowing down and romanticising the little moments that make life here feel like home. For me, it’s not really about Singapore being “small” or “mundane”—it’s about the way we choose to see it, and the people, friendships, and conversations that turn ordinary days into memories worth keeping. Over four days, I bring you along for a very simple, very real video diary: catching up with Olivia (we met in uni at CAPT) and finally meeting her dog Krispy, then a study date at Buzz Coffee Bar with my friend Nami (we’ve been friends since we were 15—so it’s been 7–8 years). In between, I make a strawberry matcha, work on assignments, and share a sneak peek of a digital marketing project where I literally made a 3-minute mini documentary about my own YouTube channel and how I apply what I learn in marketing to how I run it. It’s quiet, a bit sentimental, and very “life in my 20s” in Singapore.
