We're Lindsey and Caleb, and starting January 2025, we decided to quit our jobs, pack as much as we could into a few carry ons, and travel around the world. Join us as we take on adventures like staying in Thailand's most unique accommodations, trekking to Everest base camp, and motorcycling the Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam. Our 24-hour Jollibee challenge gave us a true taste of Filipino fast food culture and why this chain has achieved legendary status across the Philippines and beyond. Starting with Chickenjoy and rice, we worked our way through the entire menu including their signature sweet-style spaghetti with hotdog slices, burger steaks with mushroom gravy, Jolly hotdogs, and their addictive peach mango pies. The challenge revealed why this homegrown chain successfully competes with international giants like McDonald's and KFC. #Jollibee #Philippines #FoodChallenge #24HourChallenge #Chickenjoy #FilipinoFood #FastFood #JollibeeSpaghetti #TravelVlog #PhilippinesTravel #FoodExperiment #BurgerSteak #PeachMangoPie #AsianFastFood #FoodCulture

About This Video

We’re in Manila, and we gave ourselves a very specific (and honestly hilarious) mission: survive 24 hours eating nothing but Jollibee. To call Jollibee “popular” in the Philippines is an understatement—there are over a thousand locations in the country, and it’s even been voted the best fast food chicken in the world in 2024 and 2025. The only problem? We’d never tried it. So we started at 12:45 PM and went all-in trying as much of the menu as we could. We kicked things off with the fan favorites—Chickenjoy (original and spicy), rice + gravy, the Cheesy Yumburger, fries, and both pies (tuna and peach mango). The chicken absolutely lived up to the hype: super juicy, flaky batter, and crazy consistent. Dinner was a mix of the more “random” items like burger steak, crunchy chicken sandwich, a very cheese-heavy hot dog, chicken fillet with creamy pepper sauce, and nuggets that (not gonna lie) reminded us a lot of McNuggets—but with a little more chicken. We even did a midnight ice cream run, then came back for breakfast to finally try the wild card: Jolly Spaghetti. It was sweeter than we expected, but… we kind of liked it. Overall takeaway: if you’re coming to Jollibee for the first time, start with Chickenjoy and the peach mango pie, and don’t be scared of the weird stuff—some of it surprises you.
