In this one I take my old Ooznest Workbee and turn it into what I’m calling a proper RatRig “Killerbee” style upgrade — MGN15 linear rails, steel gantry plates, and a bunch of little improvements that add up to a much more solid machine. I start with why I even own a CNC in the first place (it’s basically another tool in the shed for my electric skateboard builds and random tinkering), then I get into the stuff that started to annoy me with the Workbee: rigidity, repeatability, and the general “you can make it work, but you’re always fighting it” vibe. I show the whole process end-to-end: unboxing the RatRig kit, stripping the Workbee down, then rebuilding it with the new mechanical bits and finishing off with the electronics side.
