MBS Mountainboards have a brand new channel truck in the works, and in this video I’m giving you a first look at the Matrix 3. The Matrix 2 has been wildly popular for a reason, so seeing MBS do a full overhaul is a big deal. I walk through what’s changed, what stays true to the Matrix DNA, and why this new direction looks like it’s aiming for more precision, more configurability, and honestly… just a better-looking setup overall. This isn’t a long-term ride review yet—it’s an overview of the specs and the improvements I can see right away, with my initial thoughts on what those changes could mean for electric mountainboard builds and dialing in your handling. I also had to throw this one together quickly (so yeah, a couple autofocus hiccups), and if you noticed the bruise on my nose… that’s what happens when you push electric mountainboarding and occasionally lose the argument with the ground. But if you’re into MTB channel trucks and you like tweaking geometry and feel, the Matrix 3 is absolutely something to keep on your radar.
